Film Courage: From start to finish, what is your process for writing a movie?
Victoria Fratz, Actress/Producer/Writer: From starting, I mean if we are really going to the start-start, I am watching a movie that I love. Like my aforementioned MATRIX where it was like ideas were just fireworks in my brain. All of these ideas are populating up there. From there you now have this energy that is just glowing inside of you to create and there is where I am seeing elements of this, that really inspired me, what elements of this can I take to create something that is my own? That is where I will start toying around with a scene. It usually just starts with one scene where I will see that so crystal clear. It’s one of my favorite moments of the creation process and then to write that scene. I don’t always start the script from the very beginning. I will sometimes start with what I see is the clearest. Victoria Fratz is an actress, producer, and writer based in Los Angeles, California. Most notably known for her role in romantic comedy, Electric Love and her large social media presence. Victoria got national recognition through features in Forbes and Adweek for her surge in social media fame. Her latest project VAL is currently in post-production. Victoria (along with partner Aaron Fradkin) operate the independent production studio/Youtube channel Social House Films.
