Film Courage: What is the best screenwriting book you’ve ever read?
Orson Oblowitz, Filmmaker/Photographer: I’ve never read a screenwriting book but I have read a lot of screenplays. That’s so funny…I’ve never read a screenwriting book. I’ve tried and I can’t relate to them but I’ve read a ton of screenplays. Actually since I was a kid I read screenplays. There used to be this guy in Union Square in New York that would sell bootleg printed out copies of the screenplays and I remember buying GOODFELLAS. That was really influential on me when I was a kid and TAXI DRIVER and so I was reading all of these screenplays over time. The Coens’ BLOOD SIMPLE. The Coen Brothers’ screenplays were really influential. That’s what I learned from was reading lots of screenplays (not reading books on them) and watching a ton of movies.
Film Courage: So this guy, did he have a booth set up?
