Film Courage: Let’s imagine you are on a script assignment and you’ve turned in exactly what they’ve asked for.

 

 

Film Courage: And then you receive notes back that the story is too thin and the female lead is underwritten. What would you do?

 

Mark: I would be in trouble because hopefully I would have done that in the treatment, that I would have figured it out, but obviously something is wrong. I would have to go back to the scenes and see why the character was not strong or was not driving the action…(Watch the video interview on Youtube here).
