CMS: These are concepts I’ve never had anybody sit down and face me with questions like this to write against.
Film Courage: Our goal today is to take a short idea and begin to expand it into a bigger idea.
Welcome to another Story Questions writing session. CMS, thank you for being here.
CMS: Thank you for having me today.
Film Courage: We’re going to help CMS in his quest to turn a short film idea into a feature script.
He just told me a moment ago that he actually hasn’t started his feature script yet so that’s what we’re going to kind of do here today.
CMS: I’m excited. This is going to be amazing.
Film Courage: As we do it we’re going to witness how powerful questions are during the writing process.
To anyone watching this, we encourage you to write along with us. Basically we’re going to take a small idea and see if we can expand it into a larger idea.
This session, I hope, can help with any idea that you have. That’s what we’re going to kind of learn here as we go along.
If you only watch or if you only listen I believe you can still learn a lot but our goal here is to have you write along with CMS, who’s gracious enough to do this with us.
