Film Courage: What was the strategy you had before you made your first movie and how did this strategy change for your second film?
Jason Park, Director, Producer, Writer, Actor, and Cinematographer: First movie it was just about getting it out. With the first movie you’re Oh this is going to be on Netflix. You’re so optimistic and you need that optimism to carry you through your career. The main thing about it was I had to prove to myself that I can get it done. The strategy on the first one there was no strategy. It was like Hey, let’s make this movie! So I made the movie and I kind of winged it, the whole movie was just winged. They’re always going to judge your film against that. With Four Amigos I knew right away I had to up my game. I had to get better and I had to do better. First I wrote the script, then I broke down the scenes, then I applied locations to scenes then I started getting the cast together about who was going to play what and then we…(Watch the video interview on Youtube here).
