Film Courage: What is your biggest screenwriting regret?
Travis Seppala, Author/Screenwriter: That I didn’t move to LA earlier. I had my first opportunity to move to Los Angeles in 2009 I think it was. I was still living in Michigan at the time working on movie sets as a production assistant. Myself, another PA and a make-up artist were all discussing moving out here together. Then one of them had a sudden immediate death in the family that now they had to be the sole provider for their family, so they were Okay, now I can’t make the jump out to LA. The other person was Well, I don’t want to go if she’s not going kind of thing. So it left just me and I could absolutely afford to still come out here because I had saved up the money from the five or six movies and two TV shows I had been paid on out there…but I just didn’t. I don’t know, it was one of those fear things…(Watch the video interview on Youtube here).
