Film Courage: Yes, can you give me an assignment and correct me?
Jack: Are you going to write it?
Film Courage: Well, I’ll just say it. I don’t know…if I was in the class and you were testing me…
Jack: It’s hard to say it. It’s about writing but I’ve given you the four voices, right? Plus writing like you talk so you’ve got writing like you talk, you’ve got that high voice that is a lot of chit-chat stuff Boy, you won’t believe what happened and then man knock me for a feather but I was…then there is the fancy voice (poetic), lots of images metaphors, similes, all that…(Watch the video interview on Youtube here).

Jack Grapes is an award-winning poet, playwright, actor, teacher, and the editor and publisher of ONTHEBUS, one of the top literary journals in the country. He has won several publishing grants and Fellowships in Literature from the National Endowment for the Arts.
