Film Courage: You talked about ROOM 104 earlier (I think you wrote a spec script)? Now you are actually working with The Duplass Brothers. Can you talk about that?
Marty Lang, Screenwriter/Director and Assistant Professor of Film at the University of Memphis: When I was starting to make films, The Duplass Brothers were idols of mine. I thought THE PUFFY CHAIR was one of the greatest micro-budget films ever made. I still think it’s one of the best. I had really wanted to work with them and see a little bit more about how they make stuff. This story goes back quite a ways actually. About 10 years ago The Duplass Brothers made a film in Maine. It was called BLACK ROCK. Mark Duplass’s wife Katie Aselton was the director. Kate Bosworth was in it, Lake Bell and it was a thriller…(Watch the video interview on Youtube here).
