Film Courage: What did your first few screenplays teach you about screenwriting?

R.L. Scott, Filmmaker: That’s a really good question. I was a huge lover of horror/action or sci-fi/action. I always like the more supernatural themes or the stuff that was sort of extraordinary because I felt like there were no rules in story, you could say or do anything you wanted.
