Film Festival Awards Winners With Distribution

Passionate curators, Freedom Cinema LLC has joined Film Freeway and launched The RED CARPET FILM AWARDS – a quarterly film competition based in New York City. The mission of the festival is to discover and reward screenwriters as well as filmmakers who are passionate about storytelling. The festival celebrates writers, composers, actors and films worldwide with awards in different categories and genres.

With a particular focus on screenwriters, composers, actors as well as filmmakers, films entered in multiple categories are eligible to win multiple awards. Categories include Best Short Screenplay, Best Feature Screenplay, Best Composer for a Short, Best Composer for a Feature, and Best Ensemble Cast. Screenplay categories include unproduced and produced scripts for both shorts and features.

Now accepting submissions for their soon approaching early deadline of October 6th, 2018, all winning films (shorts and features) entered into Best Short and Best Picture categories will receive at least one worldwide distribution offer from one or more of Freedom’s reputable distribution partners in LA, NY and abroad.

“This is such an exciting event for us because it rewards great filmmakers with exactly what they are looking for,” beams distribution executive Milena Zakharova, who Freedom Cinema brought in as festival director.

“Filmmakers not only need to have their work screened for an audience and awarded, they also need digital and theatrical distribution to reach a wider audience. We are one of the few festival events that can provide both.”

Although the final deadline for submissions is December 3rd, the Best Picture and Best Short winners will be announced on December 7th, 2018. All other Winners will be announced on December 18th, with the theatrical screening of Best Picture and Best Shorts winners taking place 3 nights later on December 21st at the legendary Anthology Film Archives in NYC.
