Gone Doggy Gone is a comedic feature about a couple stuck in a lack-luster marriage who treat their dog like a baby. Working the grind in LA they leave little time for each other, and what free time they have they spend doting on the dog… until it gets kidnapped. What ensues is an outlandish cat-and-mouse adventure as they hunt down the kidnapper, enlist a schlubby PI, and quite possibly conquer their fear of parenthood.
Kasi Brown and Brandon Walter (Writers/Directors) will be in attendance Opening Night Friday, June 26 and Tuesday, June 30 for a Q & A along with various cast members.
. “This is the comedy surprise of the year” Scott Marks (San Diego Reader)
“a film that mixes the wit of David O. Russell’s Flirting with Disaster with a sardonic criticism of the burgeoning dog culture of Los Angeles”-Loron Hays (ReelReviews) . “…a real treat—cracked and vulnerable in a uniquely compelling way!”-Brent Simon (ShockYa)
THIS MOVIE IS UNRATED If it were, it would be rated R for brief comedic nudity, sexual situations, marijuana use, and language that would make our grandmothers blush. BuzzWorm Films does not suggest this film for small children!
