In this conversation Ira and Mike admit they have difficulty offering romantic and career advice. They believe that you should follow your own path rather than cave into family pressures. They go on to say that you should do what you love but that it is important to listen to criticism so that you can improve your work. Lastly, if you believe in your work, you will do all you can at every stage to get your work seen and that is what they have both done in building their careers.
