Prison Photography on the Road – Stories Behind The Photos by Pete Brook

Photos from Pete Brook’s successful Kickstarter campaign – ‘Prison Photography’ on the Road: Stories Behind the Photos.  The campaign finished yesterday exceeding its $7,500 goal to finish with $11,215.00

Since 2008, Pete Brook has written ‘Prison Photography’ analyzing the visual culture of prisons and issues of social justice as they relate to photography and photojournalism. In 2011, ‘Prison Photography’ won a LIFE.com Best Photoblog Award by and listed by The British Journal of Photography among it’s Ten Recommended Photoblogs.
