“LITTLE FAVOUR” stars Benedict Cumberbatch (Star Trek Into Darkness, The Fifth Estate), Nick Moran (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels) and Colin Salmon (Resident Evil, Alien vs. Predator) and is written and directed by debut director Patrick Victor Monroe and produced by SunnyMarch, a new production company founded by Benedict Cumberbatch, Adam Ackland, Adam Selves and Ben Dillon.
“LITTLE FAVOUR” is the first SunnyMarch film release since the company was founded less than a year ago.
“LITTLE FAVOUR” tells the story of Wallace (Cumberbatch) as he tries to get over the scars of war and start a life away from the military when his old comrade James (Salmon) calls in a favour. Unable to turn down the man who saved his life, Wallace agrees to help James, but soon finds it may be more than just a “LITTLE FAVOUR.”
“LITTLE FAVOUR” was crowd funded raising £86,240 in 12 days, outstripping the original target of £25,000, allowing the film to grow into something very special. As part of the rewards-initiative, some funders will enjoy the chance to see the finished film at a private UK Premiere event in central London along with the cast and filmmakers.
Adam Ackland of SunnyMarch commented: “SunnyMarch took on “LITTLE FAVOUR” because it fulfills our company goals of giving artists freedom to work with their ideas and craft while making high quality and exciting films that appeal to a wide audience.”
