Film Courage: Viki, why did you come to Hollywood?
Viki King, Author and Film Consultant: Oh…actually I flipped a coin, New York or California. California won or lost to whichever, I don’t know which.
Film Courage: And why so trusting something as maybe simple as a coin?
Viki: Capricious as a coin, because I had offers from both sides and so then it was just random. It’s a good idea sometimes to instead of having a plan in cement, which is illusionary anyway. You might as well be more loose about it, so that’s why I did it that way.
Film Courage: Has this been a way you’ve lived your life, where you realize overthinking something won’t work, you are going to let fate decide?
Viki: Well, I don’t let fate decide it. I create it. It’s like what is my choice? This is my choice, okay then that’s how I’m going to make it happen. That’s a way that we all do it, we don’t usually always do it consciously.
