Founded in 2003 the ARTIVIST FILM FESTIVAL is the only festival dedicated to raising awareness for international human rights, children’s advocacy, environmental preservation, and the humane treatment of animals through international narrative and documentary films.


Be sure to check out the 2011 Artivist Film Festival amazing opening
film MINDS IN THE WATER.  Other films which played on opening night were Umoja, December 6, Because They Were Beautiful, A Mad Harvest, Better this World, Grace, Left by the Ship, Up Against the Wall, It’s What’s for Dinner, and Green.
