‘IS BIGGER BETTER?’ BY MERETE MUELLER & CHRISTOPHER SMITH
(Watch the video here)
Filmmakers Christopher Smith and Merete Mueller give us their thoughts on gaining a sense of identity from where we live. They tackle the question, is bigger better? They believe the notion of being bigger is better is the effect of media and advertising over the last 50 years. In the end they do not believe in packing yourself in the smallest space possible. They believe in a reductionist approach to a home, stripping it down to it's barest form and building up from there while focusing on quality of life.

Upon moving to Los Angeles, Matt makes a pact with himself: In seven years he'll be a working actor. He makes a promise that if he isn't working by then, he'll pack up and return home. This story begins seven days shy of the seven year deadline... and he is just as anonymous as the day he started. This is his goodbye story.
