Film Courage: What do you think of writers who don’t need to outline to write a good story?
Jeff Kitchen, Dramatist / Author / Founder / Consultant: There are so many different approaches. The bottom line is either the story they’re writing works or it doesn’t. If it doesn’t work and they don’t outline, then it may be something that they want to add to their repertoire. If it does work, then whatever they’ve created as their process, it works if people love the story (then whatever they do works). It’s just one approach to the process of creating, developing and constructing a story.
