Publisher of Cultural Weekly and Former President of National Geographic Films Adam Leipzig addresses creative burnout. In today’s economy he does not suggest that people quit their days jobs. He believes there are many skills that we can gain from our jobs that can be assets to us in life. He adds that we must always be in a state of reinvention, of seeing the world with fresh eyes, and turning ourselves inside out. He states most people in today’s world are going to have more than 1 career and for today’s college graduates they are probably going to have 8 or 9 careers in their work life. In the end he urges us all to develop transferable skills.
